CKD Institute of Management & Technology, Tarn Taran, recently came alive with vibrant colors, music, and cultural charm as the institute celebrated the Traditional Teej Fiesta with immense enthusiasm and pomp. The celebration was a perfect blend of joy, tradition, and togetherness, bringing students and faculty into the festive spirit.
The event commenced with a Modelling show, where students adorned in beautiful traditional Punjabi attire walked gracefully, showcasing not only style but also the richness of culture. The atmosphere became even more delightful as participants presented mesmerizing folk songs, energetic dances, Giddha performances, and much more. The sight of students with Henna-adorned hands and dazzling ethnic outfits added to the festive charm.
One of the most cherished highlights of the fiesta was the traditional swings (jhoolas), which became a source of joy and nostalgia for everyone. The entire campus was filled with laughter, music, and the essence of Punjab’s cultural heritage.
The grandeur of the celebration was further enhanced with the gracious presence of S. Harjit Singh (President, Local Committee CKDCS & Member Incharge, CKDIMT) and S. Jasbir Singh (Principal, CKDIMT Tarn Taran), who encouraged the students with their motivating words. They also honored the talented participants with special titles such as Ms. Teej and Ms. Elegant, along with awards and medals for their remarkable performances.
The Teej Fiesta was not just an event, but a heartfelt celebration of Punjab’s traditions, unity, and cultural pride. The enthusiasm of the students and the vibrancy of the performances truly made it a memorable day for everyone.
